Class fee: $240/person plus tax.

Suited for absolute beginners and intermediate potters.

 

We'll cover all the basics of throwing - centering & pulling up walls to create unique, functional pieces. We'll also cover surface decoration techniques such as carving, underglaze decals, and glazing. Class fee includes: full hands-on instruction, clay, use of studio tools & equipment. The glazing of four items is included in the fee, but other items may be glazed for a nominal price. The 1st class will last 2hrs, then the remaining classes have an optional 3rd hour at no extra charge. Class dates: November 8th, 15th, 22nd to create items, then December 6th to glaze. Please note, there's no class on November 29th (the weekend after Thanksgiving). We need four students to hold this class.
