2-hour Pottery Wheel Single "Try-it" style classes: Saturdays in 2026 at 10am
Class fee: $90/person (plus tax) all inclusive.
Our basic "try-it" class teaches beginners all they need to know to get started. Think of this as your Gateway into pottery. Also suitable for intermediate potters who want to strengthen skills and add to their knowledge base. This class is actually two sessions - the first to make, the second to glaze. We'll schedule your glazing class once your items successfully come out from their first kiln (bisque) firing. We need at least two students to teach this class.
Students 14 & 15 years old must be accompanied by a parent who is also enrolled in the class. Students 16 to 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who remains on the property.
Six Week Pottery Wheel Session Starting Saturday, January 3rd, February 21st, April 11th, May 30th (jumping over July 4th), July 25th, and September 12th, 2026 at 2pm
Class fee: $300/person (plus tax) all inclusive.
Suitable for absolute beginners and intermediate potters.
We'll cover all the basics of throwing - centering & pulling up walls to create unique, functional pieces. We'll also cover surface decoration techniques such as carving, underglaze decals, and glazing. Class fee includes: full hands-on instruction, clay, use of studio tools & equipment. The 1st class will last 2hrs, then the remaining classes have an optional 3rd hour at no extra charge. We need at least two students to hold this class.
